Oliver M. Silsby III, Of Counsel

Oliver Silsby, resident in Hong Kong, specializes in international tax and investment matters. He maintains offices in Hong Kong and Taipei, and has extensive experience with clients in China and the Philippines.

Mr. Silsby represents many Asian clients with international trust and estate planning matters, and is an expert in FIRPTA (the Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act). He is widely regarded as an expert on helping non-citizens minimize U.S. tax on American property investments.

A 1979 graduate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, Oliver also holds a graduate degree from the Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University. He speaks fluent French.
