Terrance Heath focuses his practice in the areas of family law, probate litigation and estate planning, with the ultimate goal of helping individuals, strengthening families and building community. In representing his clients, Mr. Heath integrates his broad experience to address the planning needs of individuals, their families and their businesses, and, when their futures are at risk, to seek redress through litigation and other means of dispute resolution.

Mr. Heath provides complete representation in the area of family law, including dissolution of marriage and domestic partnership, child custody and visitation, child support, parentage actions, adoptions, surrogacy/donor planning, and agreements between spouses or registered domestic partners.

Mr. Heath also offers a probate law services, including estate probate, disputes among heirs, trust administration and disputes, conservatorships and guardianships. Mr. Heath's estate planning practice includes drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, and co-habitation agreements for individuals and for couples: married, unmarried, gay, and straight. Mr. Heath also provides MediCal and Social Security planning for seniors and the disabled.

Prior to joining Cornerstone Law Group, Mr. Heath maintained a solo practice in San Francisco. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Mr. Heath gained valuable experience both domestically and internationally. He helped to develop and market research products for venture capitalists to track their investments in dot-com companies. He was a Peace Corps volunteer in Romania, where he advised entrepreneurs and consulted public entities on small-business development. His work abroad was continued at Hall Dickler Romania SRL, a US-based law firm in Bucharest. Mr. Heath worked with diverse clients including ING Bank, AIG, Lafarge and Smithfield Foods, as well as the United States Embassy, Prince Paul of Romania and Windjammer Barefoot Cruises.

Throughout his career, Mr. Heath has made a point of ensuring that quality legal services were available to all, and has volunteered representation in eviction defense, family law and public benefits. He has been awarded an Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award by the San Francisco Bar Association Volunteer Legal Services Program, and was named the program's Volunteer of the Month for July 2002.

Mr. Heath received his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1995, and his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1991. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
